how to remove the door chime module?

I need to replace it how does it come out there seems to be some kind of lock holding it in will the lower dash need to come off?

I figured out how to remove it but when I unplug it only the lock stops working is that normal?

100% normal. Now what you need to do is take the box apart and remove the F looking clip and the little metal circle, then reinstall it to convince your power locks to lock again.

I just replaced it to see if it would change the lock and unlock on my drivers side door I found im getting power but no ground and the power locks are grounded through the unlock relay.
