How to get rid of this?

I hate the way this amber panel looks. Any suggestions on how to make it look better? I would like to see it blacked out but don't know how to go about doing it?

I Googled "amber panel" and I came up with a couple of possibilities. Which one do you want to get rid of?

That made my night.....

OP.They make a smoked spray paint for that purpose. I think most auto stores carry it
