How to fix the sunroof.

My sunroof stopped moving completly but i can hear the click of the motor but no movement... what do i have to do to replace the motor.

Its bad solder joints in the sunroof controller. You need to pull the headliner and then the black box. Get a 10x lens and find the bad connections and repair them.

that sounds like alot of work. The motor was slow before i guess the connector broke. So would that signal a bad motor too?

If you can here clicking but the sunroof doesn't move then the motor is fine. There is a bracket that holds the motor's gear into the track that moves the sunroof. That bracket breaks free and then the motor's gear can't properly engage the track.
You'll have to pull the headliner to get to it.

mine only opens or closes when i hit the headliner near the center and behind the sunroof glass. can the headliner be removed without damaging it?
