You don't, have to take the whole door panel off.

What year/model, which speakers? ZJ's at least, you're gonna have to remove the whole door panel, or the top part of the dash for the tweeters.

How can we help you if you do not help us. ALLWAYS provide more info (like the year made) But yes, if any grill in any vehicle does not move by prying at it then remove the door skin!

you have to remove the panel, it's pretty easy actually couple screws and some clips, then the speaker is right there.
for the tweeterrs by the front windsheild, just slide something like a spakle knife under it and pry up.

Be prepared to break some Jesus-clips and Christmas trees.

that makes me happy I paid to have my front speakers installed. I need to get a new head now. a resistor got too hot, fried, and now my display is toast. it still sounds great though. I need to get some speakers in the rear too.

I've got the same problem!
I was actually wondering the same thing. I picked up a ZJ Orvis with the Infinity system in it and didn't realize one of the back speakers was blown. I've got to at least disconnect it until I buy some replacements.
I found 2 screws, but what about the clips to pull the rear door panel? Any technique that works best?

i take out all the screws and use a screw driver. i start up at the top by the window (slight gap) and work my way around. slide it till i find a clip point and the pry.

Make sure you find ALL the screws. I forget about the back, but the front doors had 2 hidden under little plastic circles, and one more behind the door handle. For the clips just get a really long screw driver and slide it under the panel until you hit a clip, then pop them out one by one like that. I did all 4 door speakers and didn't break one of those clips.

You shouldn't have paid for the speakers to be installed. How much did you pay for the install?? I did all 4 door speakers myself in 30 minutes

I don't remember, but with the discount on the the speakers the final cost with the install was close to the sticker prices.
