how in the * do i get the headers off?

i am taking off the passenger side header of my ZJ, i can get one of the bolts of, but i will have to take off my oil filter...no biggie, a good exceuse to do an oil change 120 miles after i just did one.

noy, the second bolt is the tricky one, the down pipe is moled to tuck between the block and the frame, and it appears impossibe to get to the bolt with out dropping my whole exhaust, i am willing to do it, but i dont wana waste all the extra time and effort if i dont have to.

so, guys that have done headers on the V8 ZJ, help me out.

swivel socket and long extention... but that may not work ... Pbblaster yeah I know duh there is a new freeze spray out , don't remember the name..
When you put it back together use brass nuts , they don't seize as bad, and a little antisieze..

they may even be listed as brass exhaust nuts.. i might surf it

maybe if you remove manifold bolts then wedge the it out . It wiil give you more room to get to the bolt...

Just use a big tow strap and yank. They'll come right off.
