horn replacement

i got cut off the other day, and when i layed on my horn i could tell my jeep cringed in embarassment. i drive a decent sized jeep, but my horn sounds like it should be backed up by a .0004 liter honda civic.

ive been doing some browzing, and i want a horn that will turn some heads. im not looking for a train horn, but i do want one thats louder then other vehicles on the street.

i was looking to get some recomendations on what product to buy, and where to install it.

thanks

Take a look at Autozone...they've got some in the bling-bling aisle. Air horns are fun, but only last for about 3 weeks. Supposedly they've got some loud ones that just bolt right up.

Check out the Wolo Xtreme air horns found at your local auto parts store. I've had them installed on my motorcycle for almost a year now, and they are very loud, and cheap.

The only thing that broke on it was a Y-split for the air lines (From the compressor there is one hose, then splits to each horn.) The only reason this part broke is because of the way I had to install them, they were pretty stuffed underneath the fairings and stress was put on that piece. In an application like under the hood of a jeep, there shouldn't be any stress and they should work and last just fine.
