$1200 for two with clean titles? That's pocket change.

Wish I would've found a 5.9 when I lived in Houston, had to settle on a 2WD XJ beater at the same price.

I hope someone picks them up and puts them back on the road.

Are you in the area? If you need a hand working on em, I'd be happy to be your apprentice. You get some slave labor, and I get some more experience working on ZJ's.

Remember these things live in MinneRUSTsoda!!

The underside probably looks like the hitch.

Still they are 5.9.

Thinking how to sneak two of these past the CFO (aka my darling wife).

I got my 97 Limited in Minnesota, and honestly, there is very little rust on it. I suspect it came from out west though. The compass declination was set 2 zones west of us when I went through everything initially. If I had $1200, I'd pick em up today. Hell, I'll have $1000 on Friday, I may pick up one of them.

It'd be nice to pick up the both, swap all the good parts to one, keep that, and sell the other for $500 as a "mechanics special"

Just got off the phone with the guy. I would be willing to bet he'd take a grand for the pair. I'm going to call the bank in the morning.

Heh, I think I qualify as an apprentice, too. Looks like you might be picking them up, though. I'd love to help wrench on them. Rebuilding a transmission is a goal of mine.

I'm down in Lakeville, BTW.
