Hmmmm, Interesting problem....

04 grand cherokee laredo. The interior lights stay on and the power window, locks and power mirrors dont work anymore. I noticed today when I had the hatch open and the radio on that the door chime was ringing...this is when the problems started. Could this be as simple as a fuse? I dont have the fuse ID panel under the drivers side anymore so I'm wondering how the heck I'm going to figure this out.
Any help on this will be appreciated as I really have to get the windows back up soon.
Thanks a bunch guys!

May be easy

Hi fscott4, it might be even simpler than that, when I had a similar problem, window switches and door locking not working it was as simple as recharging the battery, for some reason when the battery gets low those switches stop working, I must get around to replacing mine.

check the driver's door wiring boot for broken or nearly broken wires. most common one to break is the thick black ground.

also........

along with the ground, it could be the thick 12v+ wire in that harness also (going to the driver's door). the 12v+ wire was my culprit.
