Hinge pin replacement

Has anyone replaced their front door hinge pins? Driver's door on my 95 ZJ has a bit of a bounce about halfway through its arc. I've been told the pins are wearing out. I bought new ones, but was then told that it's a major job - overnight at the dealer, remove door, cost about $200.

I do basic driveway, hand-tool maintenance. Think I could do it, or should I bite the bullet and let the pros do it?
