hid's

There was a thread awhile back that had some pictures and a website where to order hids for like 30 a bulb and 8 dollars for shipping. I cant find that thread can someone help me out?

Also are those hids worth the extra money or will the sylvinia ultra brite whites work just as good or close?

Thanks

$30 for the bulb, but what about the other HID components? Sounds like a scam?

Get toshiba HIR's.

Edit: oh, maybe you're talking about the HIR's?

Yeah sounds like he's talking about HIRs. If you're paying $30 for HIDs, there's something wrong with them.

the HIR were as bright as my true 80w xenon's (not 55=80 stuff, actuall 80w). but they were still in the yellow-white color temp instead of the blue-white range. thier clame to fame is that they produce as much light as the higher-wattage bulbs without producing extra current draw or extra heat that may damage the reflector

so i didnt listen and went with the sylviana silver stars (they arent any brighter than stock) Time to order HIR's. thats what i get for not wanting to wait for the hirs to come. Also how long do they normally take to get?
