Help Sway Bar Links

Hi All,

Confused please can anyone help.

I've fitted a 2" BB lift to my Jeep Grand Cherokee Orvis 1998 and it suits the jeep and I'm happy.

But should I have increase the length of the Sway Bar Links now I've fitted the 2" BB lift or just run with the standard ones?

Any help gratefully received.

I've been using standard link ends for 2 years with no problems. If you plan on going higher in the future and the standard ends are warn or if you would just feel better about longer link ends it wouldn't hurt.

For the bar to function correctly it should be 10* above parallel or close to even with the angle of the lower control arm.

I was in the same boat as you not too long ago. Installed a 2.25" BB, but ended up using a c clamp to force the stock end links on the t55 bolt. I was told those ball joints are prone to failure. I ordered a 3" sway bar link. Immediately after installing I noticed a huge differance in taking tight turns. A lot less top heavy sway.
