Help! OBDII code P0351...x2

Please help . I have a 97 ZJ I6, 200,000+ miles. Vehile has died and near died while driving. I scanned it with OBDII and it read P0351 ignition coil primary malfunction. replaced coil... drove normal for 1 1/2 days then symptoms reappeared. rescanned, it read P0351 ignition coil primary/secondary malfuntion. Any help, tips, or simular experiances would be greatly apprecieated.

The ignition coil is OEM (new), reads good on mete.r and the cat is good to the best of my knowledge. It was not glowing hot when I checked it at nite. A friend suggested the crankshaft positioning sensor.

UPDATE:
zj totally died today on way to my daughters school play. Loss of power, would not restart, gauges all dead except odometer, low fuel light came on as it died although the tank is full... as it was being loaded on the flatbed I put tras in neutral and attempted same for TC but nogo. Tranfer case would not come out of 2wd. So asI crawled underneath to see what I could see I noticed the downstream o2 sensor male/female plug MELTED into my exhaust. Suddenly it made sense. Too dark to fix now as I have to eliminate the plugs and just hardwire it, with no matching wires(funx2). But your thoughts... Could a melted 02 sensor plug be giving my zj epeleptic seizures???

the oxygen sensor could be shorting out and backfeeding through the wiring harness and shorting out your PCM....causing everything to go wacky.. its a long shot but definately possible and yes, i have seen that before

I replaced the O2 sensor but both the male and female plugs were melted so I cut out the plugs and straight wired it the very best I could considering that none of the 8 wires matched in color.
Next Question, Same Thread:
Where exactly does one cut through the back cargo area to get to the fuel pump/ filter/ hell-thing. Im seriously concidering installing an access door under the carpet there. Can anyone give me measurements off the driverside wall and in from hatchdoor?

Just incase anybody else is going through this HELL, Ive found various cures from various forms(other forums too).
Instrument cluster inop: track a violet wire from fuse 7 in junction box. It feeds instrument cluster, data link connector (Possibly why my obdII scanner now reads link failure try again), body control module(?), through C4(?) at the JB. Check pin 16 for voltage.
Code P0351: at another forum suggested to verify that the PCM and the curcuit spliced into the injectors are good.
ALSO: from other web sources, the old "too long a screw by the PCM, remove and replace w/ shorter screw" rational.
All these things I shall do whenever I get a chance. I will keep you updated because surely to God I cant be the only one with this problem. Its very perplexing and encompasses a whole lot of " checkthis, relace this, it could be that", and according to ALL that Ive read the stealership has NO clue and suggests carpet bombing.( replacing EVERYTHING on the looong list of items it could be)

UPDATE
Just relaced the crankshaft positioning sensor. I would rather take fire than do that again. Anyways, Jeep fired right up, instrument cluster and guages working properly, and my abs light is back on as it has been for 3 years now. Idle was mildly rough for a bit as I let it run to op. temp., giving the computer time to learn that the cps has been replaced. still imperfect idle, will probably replace all plugs and ensure that all gaps are PERFECT. Scanned it with obdII... NO CODES.
PLEASE bump this ^^ for a few days, there are many people on this forum with this or simular problems. I hope this thread can help some of you. If it does, please pass it on to others.
Would post picks but im a

Update

GUESS WHAT?!
The ZJ had another seizure this morning on the way to work. Not as bad as past episodes, but same thing. Now, the cps was replaced with a BDW brand, not oem, and its bolt hole was enlongated not just circular, like the old one. I beleive that the setting/distance is imperfect. SOOOOO I will most likely replace cps again with dealers $100 cps and probably order recon ecm from advance auto for $250. That should definatly fix it. If not... harry-karry.

just yesterday replaced cps w/ $111.30 OEM and works great so far, 150 miles.
As it turns out, the BWD cps spacer is 2X thicker than oem. After 2 days of driving the paper spacer was still on it when I removed it. Meaning the sensor was too far from the flywheel. Ya think Advance Auto will refund their sensor since it was apparently out of spec? Stay Tuned.
