Help GC 99 cranks but won't start

Hi Looking for a bit of help.

bought a 1999 GC ltd 4.7 with LPG conversion, drove fine for a number of days then just started with this problem.

starts ok drive to where I'm going park up, return to car won't start just cranks. this could go on for anywhere between 5 mins and 3 hours try again and works. today called breakdown took them 3 hour to get to me (thats another story) kept trying to start every 10 to 20 mins or so nothing.

recovery come load it up get it to garage open door to steer of low loader start up straight away.

Help I'm now going bald

REALLY a shot in the dark, but trust me it is relevant - do you have a Mobil Speedpass on your keychain?

Oops, my bad. if I am not mistaken, there are only Esso stations where you are...not sure if they offer the speedpass payment option in the UK anyway. Like I said - shot in the dark.

Start with checking for spark during a no start event, you need to figure out if you have a spark or fuel problem.
I have seen LPG regulators do real funny stuff as they get older and contaminated during use.

If you have spark but no start you have fuel woes. if you dont have spark you most likely have fuel.

Check for any stored CEL codes..

Retrieving codes:

Turn the ignition key until the digital odometer displays, repeat three times in succession and then back to "On" (On/Off, On/Off, On/Off, On). At the fourth "On" the odometer will be replaced with codes. If no codes are present then "Done" will appear.

Codes are listed here : http://www.wjjeeps.com/faultcodes.htm
