all that does is delete the adaptive memory in the ecu. once the computer goes through about 50miles of driving, if the code wasn't a "holy crap this is bad!" kind of code (which will come up immediately)it'll pop right back up.
the downstream O2 sensor is telling you it's running too rich, the fact that your vehicle sometimes starts to stall like it's plugged up points to a bad cat.
a good high flow cat will be about 70$, kolak would love to sell you his exhaust but summit has decent pricing on aluminized exhaust which is the same pipe kolak sells just with slightly "worse" bends.
