Heated Side Mirror Question

To all, I have a question about Heated Side Mirrors. My 98 Grand does not have them and I wish it did. When I bought the thing I thought they were standard (they were in 96). Anyway, does anyone know if the wiring or whatever is in place if I were to try and buy heated mirrors and just replace mine. In other words, it is just a simple replace the mirrors or is there a lot more in the way of wiring that needs to be done. I don't even know if you can buy the things for a reasonable cost and if you can, any advice on that would be great. Every winter I get snow and ice on those mirrors and it drives me crazy not to be able to use them.

Thanks in advance, Vince

replacement heated power mirrors are very expensive. An earlier posting in the forum mentioned something like $250 each. I'm surprised your jeep doesn't have them. Is your Jeep a Limited? My 93 limited has them, and there is a little defroster symbol printed on the mirror glass, I guess thats one way you can tell.
1993 ZJ Limited 5.2 - no mods - Red with Gold (what were they thinking) trim.
