Heated Seats

In my 9'er the heated seats are not working. I have fixed the outer wires on the driver side seat without any luck.

Would it be possible to use the factory switch to power an aftermarket heated seat pad?

I've moved the relay from the passenger seat (which will click when turning on) to the driver side and it will not click when turning the switch on.

I've got good connection through the seat element, verified at the relay.

Nope, I can feel the heated seats in my Duramax and the wife's WJ.

No, switch pod checked fine. It outputs the proper voltage to the HSCM.

I do believe that the seat switch puts out 12v to the HSCM instead of the 5v that I had read. I'm going to do more investigating on it Sunday when I get off shift. If that is the case, I'm going to try to install the aftermarket seat heaters.
