Has your jeep ever fixed itself?

After I put my transfer case in it was making a really loud whining noise at low speed an on decel like a power steering pump out of fluid, and at 40 mph+ it started vibrating pretty bad. I decided to call it a day. Went to bed and woke up, hopped in to go to work and I noticed the whine was gone. Then all the way to work I drove 60, the first time in over 3 years I've been able to drive over 45. It was as quiet as a new car and smooth as butter.

I remember having another problem a few years ago and it just stopped doing it over night and hadn't done it since. It involved shuddering and then stalling when coming to a(every) stop.

I have had the shuddering problem before. Brought my car back to the dealer and they checked it out and said nothing was wrong. Immediately I was like yes there is. Then they showed me and no problem ever since. It would stall and cut off at every light.

vibrations don't fix themselves until something falls off.

when i pulled my trans to replace the front pump seal. when i put the trans back in and fired it up, it made these huge squealing sounds and the engine wouldnt rev over 1500rpms, even with my foot to the floor. shut it down and called it a day. next day, fired up, no squealing and it drove like a champ.

The Jeep Fairy does exist. Replaced the water pump one day. Went to take a test drive, would only stay running with my foot on the gas. no idle, would die instantly without flooring it. Got pissed off and walked away for a few hours, came back and it was running just fine without doing anything.

When normal problems go away suddenly.....expect something to fail..... catastrophically.

It wasn'ta normal problem so maybe I'll get lucky. Drive it a 100 miles today at 60 and it's running perfect. Idk, I'm not complaining. These stories are awesome though.

If any of you have any stroke with him/her, please tell the Jeep Fairy to fill my gas tank up every week. I'll be forever grateful.

I had a fuel pump stop working once. After testing all the power going into it, and testing the pump, it seemed 100% bad pump. Then after about 2 days, the pump just started working again. Reassembled everything and have been good to go since!
