Has anyone with problems moving the driver seat repaired it?

I took the seat out a year or so back and noticed plastic in the track that was broken. I don't think that is the problem, though. Drivers seat is just really hard to move forward and back. I primarily drive the Jeep now but there is a rather large height disparity between my wife and I so I would like to fix it. I'm actually in an automotive school now and the chapter were covering deals with electrical accessories (like power seats) so it would be easy for me to work on it if we get more shop time before the class is over.

I'm sure it's a common issue but I haven't found much helpful information online other than it looks like the seat track "can't" be repaired and is supposed to be replaced as an assembly.

In other news, we recently finished AC so I got it blowing cold again. Didn't get it to take the full specified amount of refrigerant but I got 40ish degree air blowing out the vents. School only charges $5.00 for the refrigerant too. Win.
