hard starts, rough idel

I got a 98 with a 5.9, usualy after it sits for the night can be hard to crank maybe around 15 seconds to get it to crank, but after its warm will crank fine and when it sits at a red light will idel very rough. When it warms up the idel will settle back down and be fine. Any ideas? I was thinking the fuel pump but want to make sure before i drop the cash on one, has been recently tuned up cap, button, wires, plugs, and coil.

+1 on fuel pump. Just did mine with almost the same symptoms, and all is well now.
Try pushing the pedal down hard, when in D, it will be slow and hesitate and will seem like it has 4 tons of weight in the trunk and barely 100 HP under the hood. If so - fuel pump.
