Ground Locations

Can anyone tell me where the grounds on a '96 GC limited with a 4.0 and auto are? I'm having electrical gremlins including pegged temp guage, automatic lights always on, no center dash lights, and no steering wheel radio controls. TIA

I think that there are some braid wires on the back side of the engine that run to the fire wall ..

you might also check al the connectors to make sure that they are together. and if your are feeling brave take them apart to check to see if they are corroded...

my 86 ford truck was acting up.

wasnt running right .. what I did for it was to run a new ground wire from the battery to the engine block that solved that problem..

Instrument panel ground is in the floor pan behind the drivers seat. Korea Zj is the electrical wizard here.
