Great info on 93-98 GCs

Found this article which solved alot of questions I had regarding the differences between the 93-98 GC, I recomend everyone read it.

Pretty good. Here is the only problem.

Joining Selec-Trac and Quadra-Trac is Quadra-Drive
99-up are Quadra Trac II (NV 247) whereas the 93-98 are Quadra Trac (NV 249).

The NV 249 uses a viscous coupler to transfer power to the front and rear driveshafts but never worked very well and could cause the front diff to burn up if all the tires were not the same size.

The NV 247 is the same t-case in the Quadra Drive system which uses a gerotor pump to engage clutches to transfer power to the front and rear driveshafts. Tires sizes should be the same also.
