Grand Slam West 2014

Registration for the 17th annual Grand Slam West (GSW) 2014 is now open. GSW is an annual event where Grand Cherokee owners get together to run trails in the 4-wheeling mecca of Moab, Utah. This is a Grand Cherokee only event, so your friend with a Wrangler will have to leave his Jeep at home and ride as your passenger. This year we're offering trails from easy to extreme, so any Grand with a low range transfer can attend. We mainly get ZJs and WJs, but I'll be there with my WK and a fellow organizer will be there with his WKII; we're hoping to get more WKs and WKIIs this year.
If you have a Grand Cherokee and it has a low range transfer case and you'd like to try your hand at 'wheeling, consider joining us this year; we've got great spotters who will make sure your Jeep comes through without any damage (this won't be necessary on the easy trails, but might be necessary if you choose a harder trail).
We do charge a $40 registration fee, but we don't make any money off that fee which goes towards insurance and other governmental required fees.

We usually get a couple attendees from the east coast and several from the west coast.

Wish I had the time and money to head over there, I'm dying to check out Moab! Maybe next year, I'll be there. That'll give me time to get the lift, bumpers and stuff put on anyways

I wish I could go, but 1400 miles is hard not to mention messing work and school would be hard.

If I have my ZJ by then, count me in!!! Hopefully I can find one and get it ready enough to make the trek and do some lite wheeling.

Rooms? What about campsites? I am going to see what I can pull off! Convoying is always fun.
