Grand Cherokee lift

I have a 2002 Grand Cherokee.Just recently got and was wondering what is the best lift for the buck?I want something around 4" of lift or so.I have done the search and found out that Kevins hybrid lift,IRO,Tera,RK and Claytons have a 4" lift.I don't want to go to LA's yet, wife would kill me if I spend that kind of money.

i agree. IRO make some very very good and afforable lifts. great service as well. kevins lift is awesome but u might find pretty expensive. around here people tend to stay away from RK. they have had some issues with the lift and the company. i say go IRO!

Iro has the best lift for the $$$. If you want to go to 4" then you will be spending around $800 plus.

Your wife is gonna kill you if you don't go LAs too. She'll have to wear a sports bra just to ride in your WJ. lol.

Oh yea, Get IRO.

IRO sounds like it might get my business. On my way to work today I saw a dark blue lifted Grand Cherokee with a sticker on it's rear window "MALLCRALIN" and license plate to match.I tried to catch up to hm/her but I was not able too.It had dark wheels and some kind of big front bumper, hard to tell though. The wife was with me and she liked it also and asked me when I was going to do that to my jeep.
If I go to 4" I read that you may need a new front DS how true is that?

1,500 for long arms hopefully? IROs 4'' LA kit is 1,300 bucks. 250 for upgraded shocks. You shouldn't need a new DS if you have the Double caradan front shaft and not the CV.

BTW, I have a feelin rrubio might show up in a coupla days.

1500 bucks is all i have saved not including tires money. That was my money saved for something else, new computer, but a lift would be better.I don't want to buy a kit then to find out I will need something else, like a Drive shaft and so on..

Get down there and look at your front DS and tell us what it looks like then.

Other than that, you won't need anything else besides what's in the kit.
