Govenor pressure solenoid / pressure sensor / overdrive and lock-up solenoid

I am writing this to show how to replace the Govenor Pressure Solenoid, Transmission Pressure Sensor, and the Overdrive and Lock-up Solenoid.

In this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wtgdu01ECtI he shows how to remove the valve body, but you can replace the Govenor Pressure Solenoid and the Transmission Pressure Sensor parts by just dropping the transmission oil pan and removing the filter with a standard socket set and a Torx - T25 screwdriver. Replacing the Overdrive and Lock-up Solenoid will require you to remove the valve body, and if you're already into the oil pan, it's not difficult to remove the valve body and replace all three parts.

Pic #1 shows the back side of the valve body. The black circle on the upper left hand corner is the electrical connector that pushes through the transmission case. On the other end of this connector is the Overdrive and Lock-up Solenoid, shown connected the the wire in the pic.

Pic #7 shows the three parts installed on the valve body and the three old parts just beside them.

Pic #8 shows the Transmission Pressure Sensor and the "M" or "W" shaped clip that holds it into place.

Thanks for taking the time to share this method of getting the electronics changed out.

If you want to change the OD solenoid without taking the valve body off, see this write-up

Especially if you're laying on your back with fluid running down your forehead.
