Just about anything that can drag itself home under its own power in the $1000 range can't be all bad.

Well, I've done some digging on my 94 ZJ.. Turns out all of it is original. Now with 249K miles, the only things it really needs is a drivers seat and the VIC needs repaired. Otherwise, starts and runs great, no misses or slips.. I believe it was a great purchase, considering it's my first Jeep.. And I'm loving every minute behind the wheel! Happy to be a part of the Jeep community, and hoping to have it for a very long time.

Sent from my iPad Mini using JeepForum.. From who knows where this time..

UPDATE: Since I purchased the ZJ back in Dec. 2013, I've replaced the entire cooling system, front axle, cyl. head, front seats, fixed the VIC, and swapped the 249 for a 242(which won't shift out of 2WD). Last week, my transmission gave out on me, about 20 miles from home.. 1st, 4th and overdrive... All slipping.. Trans fluid is full, but fluid is burnt.. Replacing transmission once I can find one, and probably going to find another TC while I'm at it.. Still, all in all, I enjoy my ZJ, and miss it being on the road!
