Gauge Cluster Info:

I know the GC gauge cluster calls for 103 bulbs for the illumination, but I had some left over 74 Tri-Power LED's which ordered for my 05 Rubicon, but I wasn't using the white ones so I put them into the 04 GC's gauge cluster. I knew I wasn't going to change the color of the gauges, but the LED's do make it brighter than the OEM 103 bulbs.

On the WJ Jeeps website they mention that installing the Overland gauge cluster into an 02-04 GC should be possible with no issues reguarding the seatbelt light and SRS light, unlike the earlier 99-01 models but has anyone done this? I'd really like to upgrade my gauge cluster, but I'd like to know if it works or not before getting my hands on one. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Tad

Just an update for anyone that wants to modify their stock gauge cluster the Tri-Power Super White LED's make the dash look much better than stock. I was able to check it out tonight after I got home and I'm very impressed with the results. I tried taking a picture of it with my digital camera, but it didn't come out good. I will try again tomorrow when I can get a hold of another camera.
