Gas Smell!!

I notice a strong Gas Smell when driving my GC. I also notice that anytime I open the gas cap the suction of air into the tank is way, way more than what it usually is.
When I stop to look around for a gas leak I can never find any sign of it.

I'm guessing there might be a vent hose somewhere that needs attention.

Any ideas?

I am experiencing the same problem. Mine is when I start the vehicle (when it hasnt been started in a few hours or so ) and the fumes are just too much to handle sometimes. I have no idea what to look for.

Mine is doing this too. I have a 98 4.0L. My check engine light came on when it started doing it, what about yours? I had the code checked and they said it had to be the gas cap b/c it was a fuel system leak or pressure or something. hmm...
Mine smells real bad after it first starts. Its starting to smell like my old 79 broncos I had.
