Umm yeah, you just made your rolling brick taller and trying to throw it faster against the wind. It takes a little more effort and gas to move your lifted brick thus the reduction in MPG. :-)

Take the mods and lift off, and watch your mpg magically reappear!

Depends on the performance mods as well.

When's the last time you did plugs/cap/rotor/wires?

Mopar combustion chamber cleaner can work wonders

I like BG44k

The list goes on and on. It's a Jeep. Jeep and fuel economy don't go together...and when you put modifications into the equation, those two words get farther and farther apart.

Yikes 200-220 a tank? I was getting that much until I changed my o2 sensor and did a full tune-up (plugs, wires, coil, etc). Now I'm getting 320 miles from about 20 gallons even through below 0 degree weather which is about 16 MPG. BTW my jeep is completely stock..

Winter blend gasoline can also impact mileage.

Mopar CCC boosted my gas mileage along with a tuneup and some Redline Complete Fuel System Cleaner

thanks for the feed back, the performance mods were already on the jeep as well as the lift when i bought it, i recently changed the plugs and ignition coil, but not a full tune up. i also used a mopar fuel system cleaner, so i guess the next thing to do is plug wires and c0 sensor.... btw, taking off lift and performance mods is NOT an option. Thanks!

Wheel bolt circle?

Increasing the tire height without correcting the speedo will make the miles lower. Even if the MPG did not drop it will seem so on your calculations.

You need to do a full tune-up. Cap,rotor, wires, plugs. As well as before you do it do a search for a thread on how to use Mopar Combustion Cleaner. Get that from your dealership and clean your throttle body. Then go to autozone and get Redline Complete Fuel System Cleaner and run that thru your first full tank of gas after doing your tuneup and cleaning your TB. That should help you.
