Fuel Tank Interchange?

I developed a leak in my fuel tank last weekend

I have a '98 ZJ, and I am wondering what year tanks will fit?

Also - are there any aftermarket options, any metal tanks out there?

My turn down fell off on the way to tahoe and the exhaust cooked the tank causing it to split along the strap on the pass side. JB weld saved the weekend, but it needs to get replaced.

Thanks!

To be safe, I'd look at a 1997 or 1998.

X2.
According to my parts sheet, the '97 & '98 use Jeep part# 52100233.
'94 & '95 share a part (#5212 7523), and '96 stands alone (#5210 0058).
Calif vehicles are different still.
