Fuel Pump/Sending Unit

Anybody have any luck replacing one of these out of a 96 GC? Only replacement is $575 from Chrysler. Other than a junk yard are there any suggestions? Thanks in advance

I am not sure if this would help but i know my 97 GC went back to the dealer for a factory recall on the sending unit. They said there was a problem with it sending false readings and people were running out of gas with the gauge reading 1/4 tank. So i would ask them to look into it, GOOD LUCK.

Hope you can save your money!!!!
