I asked a question a while back about my fuel pump..
Since I didnt want to drop my hitch, skid and tank.
I decided to cut a hole in the floor..
Then I removed the canister and opened it up.
Carefull not to damage fuel level sending unit..
(Sorry no pics)
THen I removed this stock pump..
Then I ran a fuel line to the bottom of the canister and replaced it.
(picture would be nice..)
then I wired in and installed this fuel pump...
Then I crossed my fingers and tried to start it. and to my amazement it fired right up.. No sputter no problem..
ANd It feels like it acctually runs better than before..
SO there you have it .. NOt only possible to run inline.
I figure I saved at least $200 and if I had bought the dealer
pump I could have spent $580 ..
I only paid about $80 on the MSD pump..
