Glad you finally found the problem and fixed it!

You needed a new filter on top of the pump anyhow and the pump surely would have failed sometime when you least expected it. Chalk it up to preventative maintenance and you shouldn't have to worry about it anymore.

PS. ever check your private messages which would be a number you click on next to your user name at the top of the page?

Yeah I got the message. I've been so caught up on getting my fuel gauge fixed, haven't gotten to it yet. I should have time tomorrow. Thanks.
