Fuel leak

So after filling up my tank I noticed a fuel leak, only since I filled the tank though looks like its coming from the top of the tank any suggestions?

I have the same issue.

I think I've read that this is caused by the fuel pump. Not that its going out, but the seal is broken or something. Probably a good indication it needs replaced.

Me, I just dont fill it all the way unless im going for a lengthy drive. I just categorize it has a jeep thing.

If im wrong, maybe i need to get to fixing. Lol

Mine does/did this after I replaced my fuel pump. I just fill mine up to 3/4 maybe a little past it. Mine only leaks if I've been bouncing around on bumps

Mines does this as well so like above l avoid filling to the maximum unless going on long drive. And with a tank of fuel here in the UK costing around $180 it eases the pain lol

Yep its coming from my fuel pump alright most likely the seal but it only leaked a couple dollars worth and stopped. I was able to get it.up on the hoist and grabbed a mirror with a flash light in that tiny access part where the lines go to the pump. I'll probably just leave it untill I have to do a pump.

I think im gonna fix it its apparently a 12$ seal and realistically it could catch fire plus if gas is getting out water can get in.

You flat-landers get all the breaks.
It's $1.20 a liter out here, on the wet coast.

... Wow $3.05 here in Texas where we only have 9 Billion barrels of it. Maybe some day we'll learn how to refine this stuff. If Mom & PoP culd still make it .. It'd be cheap But No we got to have uncle Sam look over us.
... Ok back to your leak .. Call the dealer an ask if yours has a recall on that seal .. Seems like some did. Not all but some. If not then drop you tank an replace the 4 inch seal around the Fuel Pump Module.

The only recall mine has at the moment is the disk brakes one and I don't have factory installed rotors anymore. Will dodge have that seal?

Yes I'd say they will have the seal we kept them while I worked for them .
.. Also what Is the rotor recall for .. I've not heard of it and I'd love to take mine into them for a free part. Since I was released !!
