FT C/V JOINT REPLACEMENT? HELP!!!!!

I HAVE A 96 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE WITH A 5.2 I THINK THE FRONT C/V JOINT ON THE DRIVER SIDE IS BAD I NEED HELP HAS ANY ONE CHANGED ONE? ITS MAKING A TERRIBLE SQUEALING NOISE WHEN ACCELERATING GOES AWAY WHEN I LET OFF THE GAS? HELP!!!!!

I can't help you with the replacement, however, a good resource to help guide you through repairs is the Haynes repair manual. It is about $12 at advanced auto parts. I used it to do a number of repairs including an exhaust manifold replacement on a 94 grand cherokee laredo 4.0 straight 6. In my opinion it is a worthwhile investment. Good luck!

Do you have an extended warranty? I just had them replaced at 80K miles under my warranty.

If your CV was bad you would hear it clicking when turning hard. Doesn't sound like it's the CV
