front to rear coil swap

So I just bought a 98 zj (first jeep) buying bfg ta's pretty soon but before that I wanna do a front to rear coil swap cause after looking at it, it seems like it could be possible and potentially a lot cheaper than a lift kit even though i probably will have to buy shocks and coils but oh well thats what scrap yards are for.

So if anyone knows how to do this and what parts are needed please let me know. Thanks for help!

BTW I have the 5.2 v8 (Limited)
Also would i have to drop the transfer case?

little search will turn up everything you could need and more.

but, since im here.

F > R swap: 1) 3.5" front lift springs

2) Extended sway bar end links (can get away with stock for a bit but they are going to be stressed.)

3) adjustable rear track bar (or track bar drop bracket if you dont have the funds just yet)

4) adjustable front track bar recommended

5) new shocks for your new ride height

thats really all that is required. however know that your ride quality is going to suffer without new control arms or bushings.

you shouldnt need a t-case drop unless you get vibrations. most of us dont however.
