Front end vibration
I was going to replace the ball joints when I realized that the front axle U joints were really bad. So I had to remove the axles and the wheel hub-bearings. I put the new U-joints w/ the jokes in the same position, but I had to hammer the wheel hub-bearings hard to remove them from the knuckle. Now at 55mph and up I have a terrible vibration. So I have two concerns.
1: When I reinstalled the axle shafts, should I have insert them EXACTLY in the same position they were? The don't have a mark or wider grove so...I just slide them in and,
2:Did I damage the hubs by hammering them out? Any ideas Ohh, most of the steering is new. Tie rods, center link, coil springs/insulators, steering damper, control arms, track bar, rotors, calipers pads and power steering gear, please help, Thanks
