Front End Diagnosis

Hey guys, so I over the past 6 months or so, I have had a definite pull/drift to the left on my 96 ZJ. More recently, the front end feels very loose when going over bumps, potholes, etc; and I even experienced a shimmy or two and one definite 'Death Wobble'. From what I can tell, the control arms are fine, but the drift in the front end and the general loose-ness of the steering on rough roads is making me think track bar? Is there another component I should look at first or should I proceed with the t-bar.

If you get under there and have someone turn the steering wheel back and forth, you will be able to see up and down play at the trackbar balljoint.

Yep...and all the other sloppy components too. Take a small LED really helps.

HighLonesome is EXACTLY RIGHT! I've been having the very same problem, But please be careful! I would not want any jeeper to go thru what I've gone. I bought a track bar from morris4x4 and after the 2nd one from them, I'm gonna have to make my own bushing fabrication,,,,,on the frame side( Flat broke now) or,,,I don't know...What I know is that you can expect anything from online shopping. NOW, if your jeep is NOT lifted, I would just get one from Autozone for about $78.00. They work fine.
