I am pretty sure the manual from my '04 states 100k miles in the A service and every 50k miles under B service. ZJ's may be less because I do not think they had synthectics specified like the WJ's.

I changed mine a few weeks ago to Royal Purple. I also became the second owner of this Jeep at ~100k. Front diff was clean and still completely translucent, rear didn't look bad either. I suspect selec trac and most of the miles in 2wd kept the front clean, though when I did the t-case it was dark.

It was a flatland Jeep that never towed anything or was worked hard, usually just a driver in it. Now it see's lots of mountain pass work and the snow is here. I want it to be ready for some real work now that the 4.0 is finally broken in
