front caliber Q

Front CALIPER Q not caliber

ok so im installing new calipers, ceramic brake pads and rotors and i took my old calipers off and hooked the new ones up to the banjo joint only it leaks. i did the banjo joint hand tight and it still leaks. do i need to line the holes up in the bolt with the banjo joint or do i need to tighten it more or maybe some rust or something in the way? can i use some sort of sealant on them to stop the leaking?

did you put both of the copper washers on the banjo bolt? there should have been 2 new ones supplied with you calipers, if not NAPA has them. even if you used the old ones it may leak, make sure you have one on each side of the banjo fitting, one between the caliper and banjo and one between the banjo and the bolt.
