Front bumper mount template

Hi folks! I normally hang out over in the XJ area so please pardon my ignorance.

I'm trying to find a template for a ZJ front bumper mounts to compare to an XJ template to see if a bumper that I'm building can be easily adapted to a ZJ.

Yeah I tried the FAQ's and did a search with multiple keywords, but no luck at all.

Anyone able help?

You could search google for a front mounted hitch and find the install instructions, it will show the mounting points you can use.

No measurements.. But you can see how it mounts.. http://www.hiddenhitch.com/fitguides/pdf/N65008.pdf

Thanks, but what I really need is template that shows the mount dimesions and bolt hole locations.

I don't have a ZJ available for determining the dimensions so a picture just won't work.

would a template for that factory skid plate be of any use to you? I am not sure but I think it bolts the same place that a hitch would bolt. I am not sure how a new front bumper bolts on either. I just took mine off and its laying here, also I could give other dimensions if I knew what you might looking for. GC is sitting here in my garage and i'm tinking on stuff.

Hmmmm, XJ's mount along the outside of the unibody framerails, I assume the ZJ's do as well. As far as using the hitch mounting locations...I have no idea.

Yes I found out that will not help you any. But if you want to build an extra bumper and send it to me I will try in on to see if it fits. And if it fits will post right away a big thankyou
