Those are just regular heim joints. They are illegal (offroad only) to have in the steering as per USDOT. If you have state inspection in your state, they will fail you for them. However, they are fine for the suspension, go figure

Unfortunately, those aren't mine, I wish I had WJ knuckle conversion.

Clayton does have a bracket kit. The control arm brackets will fit fine. The shocks will fit, not sure about the rear swaybar brackets. The trackbar bracket I am unsure of but I will not need it with claytons kit going on. If the coil buckets are too big then they should fit the zj coil fine I would think.

I would say D44HP. Same width, driver side drop. Plus you would able to get discs brakes on them. Not sure if Waggy axles had disc brakes.

Okay, I bought the axle but I was surprised when I saw that it was the short wheel base bronco width. WMS is 57 5/8. Thats like 2" shorter than the zj axles if I am not mistaken. Now up front I am still wondering what to do. I was wondering if there would be a way of running a Hp30 up front, figuring out how to do a cheap hub 5x5.5 conversion, and adding 1" wheel spacers on the rear. I have no issues where I live with the dana turdy other than the crummy brakes. Figured it would be easier to swap a HP30 and cheaper because I would not need a bracket kit. Maybe a super 30 with a truss would be ideal for 35's. I dont know if the early broncos were equipped with a 44 front end or a 30. Looks like I have some research to do.

Yeah the EB WMS is small and they did have 44s they were just low pinion. You could run adaptors in the rear to get your 5x4.5 BP, or do they make those? You could get some custom shafts from Currie or so, but then again more $$$.

Perfect, 1" wheel spacers/adaptors. Cost much less than the warn hub conversion but I get the less desirable 5on4.5 pattern.

If you want to run the HP30 just leave it 5on4.5 then when you get the spacers to make the rear alittle wider to match get ones that change the lug pattern from 5on5.5 to 5on4.5... That is way cheaper than a D30 hub conversion sence you would need to buy the spacers anyway.

EDIT: I did not read and I guess this was already suggested. Great minds think alike!
