Found a Ford 8.8
There is an old man parting out a 92 Explorer. It has an 8.8 with drum brakes. I am pretty sure I can get it for dirt cheap. What do I need to look for? Do I need to check if it has ABS? Is there anything else I need to snag other than the axle? Can I convert the drums to disk? Would it be worth converting drums to disk? I was trying to find out what gear ratio it had but the tag was just a whole bunch of random #'s.

did you miss the search function after finding the 8.8? BTW, Superior makes a Super 88 upgrade for that axle. Hunter
