the rearend out of a lincoln versallies (granada with a continental kit) is the narrowest and comes with disc brakes. but an 8.8 out of a ranger or exploder would be a better swap.

Ranger is too wide and 28spl. Exploder is the way to go if you aren't going full width (64"or wider). If you plan on going full width the 9"becomes more attractive.
The 9" housing isn't as strong as the 8.8 in stock form.

i wasnt aware of this i plan to go full with. so would a ford 9 be good. at the veryend when i have everything done to my jeep i would be running 35s or 37s with cut flairs so im low and wide for a good center of gravity.

Troy (bigbluezj94) was on JF, sadly he passed away last year. His build thread is still full of great info and pictures, it's quite a bit more detailed than the MC thread.
