I believe with a pre 96 V8 you have to swap inputs.

It will work but you have to split both cases and put the 249 input in the other case.

i would. offer him 20 bucks and see if he bites. even at 40 its a steal. youll need to swap inputs to use it in your jeep, but even then i still wouldnt pass it up. all you need to swap inputs is a good pair of snap ring pliers and a few hours

So I have the case. It's doesn't spin so I'm guessing it needs a new chain and a rebuild kit. Guy said its been sitting for 3 years. Planning on putting it on Friday. See how it goes.
