First mods

Hi i just joined the forum and just bought my own jeep. Its a 99 WJ V8 grand cherokee. i just got out of the racing scene and ive always wanted a jeep. i know a good amount about jeeps just not about there engines. jw from any of yall what a good first mod would be? Thanks for all your help

well its my dd so i dont wanna go all out but just like progress like each year to somethin more and more if you know what i meen? o and probaly more trail more so then like mud and rock climbing

headers and back exhaust would be my first on the list. After that, some sort of intake (cold air, drop in, etc).

Are you interested in the performance aspect or more looking for the offroad aspect of it. Performance aint much in these moving bricks.

Well youll probably want to look at lifts first, alot of guys with WJs Ive notice like the 3" IRO kit, if you want to go real cheap first you could look at a BB, which are ~2" coil spacers and new shocks.

Look through the lifted pic thread and see what you like and whats in your price range and go from there. Once you lift it though it doesnt stop going up, its the itch

first thing most people do is get a budget boost/spring spacer lift of about 2" and put on some larger all terrain or mud terrain tires.

after that, take it out and see what it can do and what you'll need. next you'll probably want to start armoring it against those rocks, trees, and stumps.
