Sounds like you could be stuck between gears in the TC...can you/have you tried rolling the jeep a bit? Also are you sure the linkage is hooked up properly? The WJ has a cable style right?

Got the cases side by side again, the input shafts are different lengths.

I need a t-case from a V8.

I think the grinding when shifting to park is the trans having no post load. Am I saying that right?

But remember my Jeep always made that sound (for just a second) when I shift to park when in 4 LO?
