FEELER, 96-98 Keyless entry Fob remotes.

Looking at selling two 96-98 keyless entry fob remotes with a passenger door lock module. Simply install door lock module and you're good to go, No need for dealer programming.

What would you pay?

I can only relate what I,ve seen on flea bay. The modules run from $50 for a decent looking one all the way to above $200 for a new one. Fobs are the same way somewhere between 25 to 50. But to have a matching setup is a special case and should be worth a decent price. If you haven't seen my question about the cable yet, lol, please look back at the abs thread.

I have a few extra modules and remotes. Just wondering if worth the hassle of trying to sell em.

Can you program them yourself or does it take a dealer?

The question is: Could I install this on my 98 that doesn't have remote locks?

You mean you just don't have the fobs? I don't think i've seen one without remote entry. Not to say they don't exists, just never seen one.

It will work on your or any other 98 ZJ. Yeah all 96-98's came with keyless entry. I had a 96 Laredo that was so basic that it didn't even have the factory tinted rear glass, still had keyless entry.

Unaware of that, cool. In that case it would be worth about 150 bucks to me. Mine doesn't have the little red flashing light on the dash like my 97, so i ***-u-me-d that it did'nt have the remote door locks.

The flashing light is for the factory alarm. My 96 didn't have it either with keyless entry. I was thinking more like half $75. I'll try to get a couple of modules programed this weekend.

I would be interested in the process of doing that.
