factory 5 speeds.

So i have searched through the postings here, and failed to see anything from the 93 5 speed owners. I see a lot for the 5.9s, but nothing for the even more rare 93 manual guys.... i should be getting mine this weekend and would like to hear from fellow owners on what they know and see with their ZJs.

hand throttle, using it make the ride so much smother in the rocks when you dont have your foot bouncing off the skinny peddle. And when climbing I dont have to use 3 feet

IMO the 5speed really opens the 4.0 up.. on 235's you can chirp 2nd, 3rd around turns

You'll see, it feels like a real transmission. compared to the Hondas and mini trucks i'v owned. The synchronizers dont like speed shifting to much

So more like a full size...?

i had an 82bronco 5.0 with 5 spd and a 71 F100 with 4 on the floor....

Whats your shift point?

What size tires and gears are you running?
