factory 5 speeds.

So i have searched through the postings here, and failed to see anything from the 93 5 speed owners. I see a lot for the 5.9s, but nothing for the even more rare 93 manual guys.... i should be getting mine this weekend and would like to hear from fellow owners on what they know and see with their ZJs.

well, won't get many posts on it as there's only 1600 of them and i've seen 5 in junk yards personally. lol

'97 zj 5.2, some stuff, some other suff, and some things that even work sometimes.

As cool as it would be to have a 5 speed zj im glad mine is an auto my caliber is a 5 speed and its nice to just get in and not have to shift.

Squazz, whats that handle set up on the gear leaver? Is that like a clutch?

4.5" short arm, 33" Courser MXTs, custom stubby bumper, skids, someother stuff

hand throttle, using it make the ride so much smother in the rocks when you dont have your foot bouncing off the skinny peddle. And when climbing I dont have to use 3 feet

Nice... how the shifting??? I was worried about the funky shifter ( ive always had cars/ short shifters and trucks 3ft shifters...lol)

That is a sick looking jeep. I will show you what im giving up for this one....

IMO the 5speed really opens the 4.0 up.. on 235's you can chirp 2nd, 3rd around turns

So more like a full size...?

i had an 82bronco 5.0 with 5 spd and a 71 F100 with 4 on the floor....

Whats your shift point?

What size tires and gears are you running?

Hhhmmm, thats pretty cool

I want to play on some rocks :/ that seems fun. Ive always like technical trails instead of mud
