Exhaust manifold interchangeability with later 4.0s

I've got the crack right where the pipes join on the exhaust manifold on my 4.0 ZJ.

I want to try and pick a used manifold of another jeep. Since these are prone to cracking, I would want to try and grab one off of the latest model and lowest mile 4.0 I can find.

My question is, are all exhaust manifolds the same on all 4.0s up to the last year they were manufactured?

Could I grab an exhaust manifold off a 2004 YJ 4.0 to use on my '95 ZJ if I found one?

Thanks,
Mike.

I know in later years 4.0s had a lot of emissions safety garbage put on them... so it is possible that they are different. But a 4.0 is a 4.0 so I would assume they are all interchangeable

I just replaced mine a few months ago and was going to pull an old one from a yard. But after doing some research the consensus seemed to be that since new aftermarkets were only $80 shipped, were a better design less prone to cracking, and pulling an old one was such a pain and it was more likely than not going to be cracked too.......it just made more sense to buy a new one.

Yeah, I'm finding the doorman manifold with the bellows on ebay for about $120. I trying to save money and take my chances getting a used one intact, but I would kick myself if a used one cracked on me again.....

I think I just might pick this one up instead: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dorman-674-1...item1e64b165c9

I have actually taken the manifold out, welded it and put it back in for a buddy before, tried it in car but no dice, if I ever get the nerve to do mine I am replacing it w a performance header
