Exhaust Manifold Back to the Tailpipe

Hi everyone,

I just replaced my exhaust manifold in my 94 ZJ and would now like to replace the exhaust from the manifold to the tail pipe. The muffler is shot and and there is a couple of leaks in other places. I think the cat is okay but would prefer to replace all to avoid future problems.

What are my options, brands, performance?

Any ready to install kits? - dont have a welder.

What have you guys done? Did any go without the cat?

Thanks for your time and insight!

If you have the original cat, it must be about dead.

Contact our vendor Nick (kolak @ aol . com). He will help you decide what best fits your needs, then provide the package you want for a good price.

Why not try a local muffler shop? The only time I ever bought a kit was because no shop locally could bend 4" pipe. The place I got to regularly is always cheaper than DIY kits. Sometimes a local shop might have a good deal on take off mufflers, seems many people buy loud mufflers and end up changing them back out, I have bought a few used flowmasters thoughout the years.

Welded is always better than slip fit/clamp on, I would rather have bolt on flanges than simple clamps. If anything you might consider having a muffler shop weld it together after you install it but then you are spending more money and might a saved a little having them do the whole thing.
